Derek Paul Nastasi is the lead policies and politics journalist at Mustang Roundup. He fights for the truth because he wants to stand out from other fake news sources and works as hard as he needs to deliver factual knowledge. He reports the facts even if they aren't in his personal favor and believes every student should be up to date with knowledge of school policies and world politics. He's a very unique and unusual person and does many things differently than most people, saying that salads are “compost piles” and that society should not depend on technology, explaining his old fashioned demeanor and paper documents.
