Since the Cadet Cafe opened up again this year, I decided to ask a few questions to the one that oversees it all and helped start it- MSgt. Cervone of JROTC. I went into the JROTC room and asked for him and he came up to me and was very approachable and gladly accepted the questions.
Me: When and how did Cadet Cafe start?
Cervone: It started around the Christmas of 2017. It was fully set up by the cadets in JROTC. They researched the products and setup; it took off shortly.
Me: How does Cadet Cafe help the students and JROTC?
Cervone: It brings down the cost of trips for the JROTC and gives the students a morning snack.
Me: What is your favorite item on the menu?
Cervone: My favorite is Italian roast coffee.
Me: What upcoming events are happening in JROTC?
Cervone: A field trip to Flight 93 memorial and a blood drive on Sept.26th.
After the interview I researched the whole menu and found that the Cadet Cafe menu has just drinks which consist of coffee , tea and hot chocolate with various flavors. The cafe is open every school day at homeroom 7:00am-7:30am.
