Introducing Mini Mighty Mustangs

Updated: Jan 1, 2019

Interested in helping the community and spending time with younger kids? Well, with the Mini Mighty Mustangs program, now is your chance to do so!

Last Wednesday students were invited to attend a meeting promoting the Mini Mighty Mustangs program, a club focused on early childhood literacy.

This club hosts multiple functions, such as the annual Dr. Seuss Event in the spring and a red carpet event coming this October. Additionally, participants walk in parades, operate a booth at the Annual Community Spirit Day, and help out during other events.

Headed by Director of Curriculum, Mr. Randy Miller, students are given the opportunity to do the following: help set up events, walk in parades, organize books, package bags, hand out books, and organize events.

To get into the club and do all of the things mentioned previously is simple. First, email randy.miller@lhsd.org to sign up. Next, once in the club, attend one or more events. Miller also asks for participants to be kind to other students.

There was one other thing Miller requested the students at the meeting to do, and that was to “spread the word.”
