On Tuesday the boys Section 2- AAA qualifiers were held at Duck Hollow Golf Course. Steve Ross, who has been outstanding for the Mustangs this season, shot an impressive 75. His score would go on to finish as the second lowest round of the day. Greg Hensh also shot an 82 at qualifier sending him off to WPIAL Qualifier round. Both seniors will play in the next round at Youghiogheny Country Club later this week. Along with the two boys, Megan Joyce made the cut at the girl’s individual qualifiers on Thursday. Joyce played at Victory Hills Golf Club in Elizabeth, PA. Joyce a freshman, and shot an 83 to beat her target score of an 88. Joyce will be competing in the next round at Diamond Run Golf Club. This is the first time in more than 5 years that three Mustang golfers made the cut at section qualifiers.
